Christmas List
Well I was asked to make a wish list for Christmas. Personally I like having stuff made for me. I am not really into the whole shopping at a store thing for Christmas. But I realize that other people are, so here is a list of things that I want at the moment.
This cool little device lets me use my linux computer and my windows computer from the same keyboard and mouse. It also switches my sound for me. I have been wanting one of these for a very long time, but they always have cost too much. Now they are fairly cheap! Estimated cost $20
Buffalo LinkStation Live Multimedia Storage Server. I found it at Buy.com on this page. I also found it at walmart.com for a bit cheaper than buy.com. I want this so that I can copy all my DVD movies to it. This will allow me to be able to stream the movies either to my projector, laptop, xbox, or computer. Eventually I would like to get a DVD/Blue-Ray player that can stream movies from this device directly to my TVs/projector. Estimated cost $160 —Note I bought this for myself with my birthday money.
Renew my subscription to Popular Science. I have a subscription that goes until Feb 2009 that was given to me last year (thank you Ethan). This is one of the best magazines that there is out there. However, if you would rather go out on a limb, there are a lot of other good mags that I would be interested in. For example anything that has to do with astronomy or woodworking. Estimated cost $14.
Here is a cool supergadget. This thing can hold 32GB of data!! For all of you that are not geeky or whatever, this means that I could store 8 DVDs, 16,000 super high quality pictures, 8,000 songs, or just about anything else. Most likely I will use it to store all the software tools I use to fix your computers and would be able to backup your hard drives onsite before I reinstall your OS. This is one cool little device. Cost $59.97
Sing the Songs Of Josh Groban. I love the voice of Josh Groban and I do realize that I will never get even close to sounding like him. But I would love to try. This couldĀ keep my voice worked out if nothing else. I promise that you don’t have to listen to me sing the songs if you get this for me. Estimated cost $22.- In fact, any Josh Groban CD would make me happy. I already have “Awake” and “Closer”. Estimated cost $10-$15.
Way to go Brant! Great idea to put item, cost, picture and discription here…even though it makes me laugh
I will pass this on to your secret name draw-er.
